Sirena’s Star Report: December
If you feel 2021 was enlightening in great and also challenging ways, you are not alone.
Sagittarius season is highlighting what was learned, shared, and explored to add adventure and experience to our lives. How has your inner truth compass shifted? Are you more dedicated to tending to your inner flame? We enter December on a beautiful and gentle high note as Neptune in Pisces turns direct on 12/1. This is important because we end the month when Jupiter moves into Pisces 12/29 (see info below).
They are building to an impactful and supernatural conjunction coming in April 2022, more on that next year!
Tend to your inner truth and fire on 12/4 when a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius arrives. It provides us a wonderful time to set new intentions for 2022.
Sagittarius is the adventurer, the philosopher, the Archer. Take out an arrow and shoot for the moon, the biggest dream you have! This is a significant eclipse because it is the last one out of the Gemini/Sagittarius nodes that started May 2020. Look back to that time to see what has transpired and grown, celebrate how far you have come, even with the challenge of a pandemic.
Now is the time to harness the opportunistic momentum of this new moon, it is pure magic. You have broken the stagnation of self-limited beliefs to seek a new found freedom.
Sagittarius rules the hips, fall and winter is a wonderful time to slow down and try restorative or yin poses especially targeting the hip area.
On 12/13 Mars enters Sagittarius and Mercury enters Capricorn. Big shifts in terms of action and communication. Mars feels at home in Sagittarius, because of its rulership over the fire sign of Aries. This will give us a little boost to act on our new intentions or goals for 2022. Mercury in Capricorn lends itself to concrete conversations, establishing a good foundational base to create a plan to reach goals through meticulous thinking. Sagittarius quick action in Mars will be tamed by practical self-controlled Mercury in Capricorn.
A full moon in Gemini on 12/18 brings attention to your shoulders. Are you holding the weight of the world on your shoulders and trying to fix everything to put it into some order? Gemini rules the shoulders, arms, hands, and lungs. As an air sign, take some big deep breaths on this day, try working with a kumbhaka in your pranayama practice.
This is an intentional pause at the top of an inhale and the bottom of the exhale. A full moon is about release and in the sign of Gemini we are letting go of the year.
Taking note of all that you have learned and shared, moving into 2022, what can you leave behind and what knowledge will you take with?
Venus has been in Capricorn a few weeks now and will turn retrograde on 12/19. Venus, the planet of love and relationships doesn’t feel at home in Capricorn. We may find it much more difficult to express our feelings, have a fear of intimacy, or avoid commitment during this time. Our attention may venture more towards interest and love in material or tangible things versus romantic love and whimsy of a person or persons. On the bright side, this is a good time to reassess the foundation of your most important relationships with close partners (romantic or business), friends, and family.
Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and Summer Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere arrive 12/21 when the Sun moves into Capricorn. A time of deep reflection right before the start of a brand new year. Many people like to take this time to celebrate their wins of the past year and to build new intentions, mantras, or goals.
Do you choose a year word? How could you incorporate that into your intentions?
Capricorn season is the absolute best way to move into a new year because it helps us establish discipline, responsibility, and maturity to meet long term goals. It rules the knees, which is a foundational joint in the human body and is essential to help us move forward.
A feeling of tension has blanketed 2021 at times under the square between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus.
On 12/24 the last square between these two planets will happen, ending a cycle that began on February 17 with the first square and the second one on June 14.
If you look back at these dates, a turning point has been happening around questions about established governmental structures and our desire for freedom of choice through change in a very rigid and unwavering world right now. What structures have collapsed in your own life, which you thought would be devastating, but were actually liberating? The time is now.
We end 2021 on a massive inspirational high note when Jupiter enters Pisces on 12/29.
If you haven’t experienced hope yet for what the future holds, this movement will boost you into an opportunistic and blessed attitude to enter the new year. Jupiter loves being in its original rulership sign of Pisces. It is dreamy, loving, compassionate and expansive. As a collective, we will also be shifting more into empathy, forgiveness, generosity, and universal love. Faith and devotion are key themes, so how can you apply these to your new dreams as well?
If you are feeling lost at the end of the year, find which house(s) are encompassed by Pisces in your natal chart, THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC WILL BE HAPPENING!
Happy 2022 dear Friends!
